Transfer Programmes
As well as conducting technology transfer on a unilateral basis the NCLA also utilises various mechanisms for the transfer of laser and optical technologies to industry.  These include:


lightFORUM - Atlantic Laser And Optics Forum

The last lightFORUM meeting was held on 17th April 2008, in Galway.
The theme of this session was :

"Skills & Knowledge Development - Photonics in New Products and Manufacture"

The Atlantic Laser and Optics Forum (ALOF) at NUI Galway provide a framework in which technology transfer and industry outreach is fostered and opportunities for collaboration between industries and NUI Galway are created.
